GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) - The Palestinian journalists union declared on Monday that news photographers are "absolutely forbidden" from taking pictures of Palestinian children carrying weapons or taking part in activities by militant groups, saying that the pictures harm the Palestinian cause.
“We
offered him (Arafat) the opportunity to bring them [Palestinian militants]
to justice. He did nothing of the sort,” Gissin told MSNBC’s
Lester Holt. “What is best for us is to arrest where he doesn’t
arrest, intercept where he doesn’t intercept and stop them where
he doesn’t stop them, and that is exactly what we are going to do.”
